The government has now extended its free COVID-19 workplace testing programme to all employers in England, including those with fewer than 50 employees.
To access these free rapid lateral flow tests, you must register your interest through an online government portal by no later than 31 March 2021.
To do so you need your company name, registration number and email address.
You’ll be provided with all the information and kits you need to plan and deliver your testing programme, including promotional materials.
For small businesses with under 50 employees, or for those where staff are working from home, there is also the option to offer rapid lateral flow testing in the community through local asymptomatic test sites.
Small businesses can direct workers to these test sites if they can’t offer testing in the workplace.

Regular staff testing can pick up asymptomatic cases.
