The Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, has just announced the furlough scheme is being extended for an extra month, until the 30th April 2021.
The government will continue to pay 80% of employee wages up to this date without the need for the employer to contribute.
The Chancellor also confirmed that the Budget will be on the 3rd March and will set out the next phase of the plan to tackle the virus and protect jobs.
